The pets listed below are just a few of the many animals that came to CCAC for help through the years. Whatever their story was, we did whatever it took to get them into new loving homes or help their owners keep them. If they were sick or injured, we got them vet care. If they were abandoned, we networked, and occasionally took them in and cared for them until we found them a home. We strongly believe that each and every animal deserves a chance at happiness….these are the few who have already found it!

This is Cow. Him and his brother (pictured below) were found roaming a neighborhood. A lady living in the neighborhood took them in and cared for them for a short while. However, she could not keep them, so she contacted us. |

This is Bear, Cow’s brother. We took both of these adorable boys to one of our adoption events. A VERY nice family with 50 acres of land took them BOTH, so they could continue to be together for the rest of their lives! |

This is Norm. Unsure of his breed(s), he was named "Norm" for NORMal dog. He’s a very playful pup – but never rough, always gentle. He was adopted on 10/23/10 at the Adopt-a-Thon that the Catoosa County shelter held, and CCAC helped out with. |

This is Joker. He’s a Chihuahua mix, approx. 2 years old. Very sweet and loving – he’s your basic lap dog…even while you’re standing! He was adopted on 10/23/10 at an Adopt-a-Thon event which the Catoosa County Shelter hosted, and CCAC helped out. |

This is Maggie. She was found living under a storage buiding with her 3 newborn kittens. Two of which were too sick to survive, the 3rd was hit by a car before we could rescue him. Maggie was a feral cat – had little to no human contact her whole life. After rescue, her Foster Mom kept her indoors and worked with her, in hopes that she could be turned into a pet cat. Maggie’s Foster Mom worked with her for well over 3 months and had finally gotten Maggie to the point of not being terrified of humans. She was adopted on 10/26/10 by a lady with a big horse farm. Maggie has free roam of the entire farm, including two barns. She is a VERY happy kitty now. |

This adorable chocolate lab/mix was found abandoned at a construction site. The poor little guy was starving. Once we got the call, we took him in and got him to the Vet. After he got his clean bill of health, we got some weight on him and then he was ready for adoption! He got adopted by a very sincere man who we believe will take excellent care of Buddy! |

This is Chloe. She was found abandoned in a wooded area digging through the trash on the side of the road in search of food. This poor girl was ate up by fleas, had a belly full of worms, and was so skinny!!! We took her in, gave her a good bath, applied some advantix for the fleas..then took her to the Vet for her puppy shots, dewormer, HW preventative, and over-all check up. She was adopted along with another puppy, to a very loving family of a husband, wife, and their 3 children. |

These 3 adorable babies were found by Casey Wolff in Tunnel Hill, GA. He was kind enough to take them in and foster them until forever homes could be found. The Wolff family immediately decided to keep one pup for themselves as they just fell in love with him! The white pup was adopted out shortly after to a wonderful home! The female (blonde) pup was taken to Petsmart and networked…some people showed some interest but no one took her home with them! The Wolff family decided that they would keep her as well – now, she gets to spend her whole life with one of her brothers! |

This is Meredith. She’s a very energetic border collie mix. She had been looking for a family for over two months and finally found the -perfect- family on 7/31/2010! A lady and her son stopped by Petsmart on 7/31/2010 and immediately fell in love with this sweet girl. She’s going to be able to live the rest of her life out with people who care deeply about her – and just like all animals, she deserves it. |
| This is Princess. She was found living under a church bus. A man and a lady that worked near this church, contacted us for help. We took in this pretty puppy, got her vet-checked and took her Petsmart for the Adoption Days. Her second weekend there, she found her forever home! A very nice couple with 2 daughters and 1 other dog fell in love with her – spent quite a while with her, playing and getting to know each other before finally deciding to take her home with them. | |

This is Brownie. He came to us in the begining of 2010. 6 months beforehand, poor Brownie was shot in the leg and had to have it amputated. Despite his horrible run-in, he remained a very sweet and loving dog. We found him a home on 4/24/2010 with a loving family that includes a Husband, Wife, 2 children, and 1 other dog. |
| This gorgeous girl is a Yorkie mix. She was surrendered to CCAC, in need of a new home. Due to her being such a sweet animal, we found her a new home in minimal time, with a very nice lady who simply adores her! | |

This little Chihuahua mix pup came to our group to foster through a call on our phone line. Someone had just dropped her out, and she had found her way to a family that wanted to help her. She was a 6 lb. ball of energy. We took her to the vet for her spay and shots. It was determined that she was 5-6 months old. Through our networking, we found her a wonderful home within a couple of weeks where she is the center of attention. |
| These 10 adorable baby kittens were born at one of our Foster pet-parents home. Once they were old enough for adoption, she then found loving homes for all 10 of them, within a few short days! | |

This is just one of the Feral cats that CCAC helped to catch, after their owner had passed away and they were left abandoned at their home. There were 8 total..once caught they were taken to McKamey for care and spay/neuter. A very generous Ringgold GA resident offered his farm to re-home these cats, so that they’d have a safe place to roam and access to fresh food and water!! |
