This was our first race, so we were all a little worried about how things would turn out. We are pleased to say that we had a great turnout for it! We had some awesome sponsors, participants, and volunteers. Thank you to everyone who helped out with this race – we could not have done it without you all!

We’re still unsure if we will make this an annual event – but with as well as it went, it’s very possible that we might!

The Fort Oglethorpe branch of NorthWest GA bank (on the Hwy 27 end of Battlefield Parkway) held a hotdog, chips, drinks, and baked goods fund raiser for us! We had a few animals for adoption availabel as well.

The event had a great turn out! We raised over $400 to help with our spay/neuter assistance program! We appreciate the kindness and dedication of the wonderful people at this bank for doing this. We’re hoping to make this an annual event with them!

The PawBash Cannonball  Fundraising Auction

This charitable event was held at the Historic  Ringgold Train Depot on September 17, 2009. The purpose of the event was to raise money for the group’s low cost spay and neuter program that aids pet owners in financial need.

Hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar were provided by Ruby  Tuesday.

WRCB-TV personality Jed Mescon emceed this event and  musical entertainment was provided by the Hicks Family.

Sample auction items were golf packages, a  Giant mountain bike, a handwoven Persian rug, Wii, cigars, jewelry, and  several works of art. There were many more items donated by our generous sponsors, which raised approximately $6,000.
