Dunham – Christmas Donations

Dunham donations

Lauren (Lakeview High School) and Lindsey Dunham (Lakeview Middle) wanted a way to give back this Holiday Season. Instead of making their own Christmas lists, they decided to do something very generous. They both love animals so they thought of a way to make a difference in a homeless pet’s life. The Dunhams had adopted their beloved dog Milla two years prior from Catoosa Citizens For Animal Care so they decided to start there. The family pulled resources together and got items donated locally and all the way from Knoxville. They made stockings full of toys, treats, collars, pet shampoo, and much more for dogs and cats. There were baskets filled to the brim with items. What a lovely thing to do for these animals! Most of the animals in foster care were from the local shelter who may have never known a loving home before then or lost their way and couldn’t get back to their family. These animals now have a special treat this Christmas thanks to the selfless act of two young ladies. They presented the stockings and gifts to CCAC members at the Catoosa County Library on Saturday, December 14th. Mr. Bojangles, featured in the reindeer antlers, would love a family of his very own. We couldn’t be more thankful for this charitable act.

Please remember to adopt and not shop for your next forever friend. There are so many wonderful dogs and cats that deserve homes and will be forever grateful.
